readyboyd

Updated: Oct 27, 2024

Who knew? A chance to dress up, see friends and neighbors in Waialua!

Plus art, wine or beer, water, sparkling waters, and music,

and a stroll along the magnificent front lanai and two renovated rooms at the 1936 Waialua Sugar Company office building.

No, it's not the Annex. That burned down in 2003, next door, and houses were built there.

The food was great, the music by Phil Meek and Michael Cheape, was just right.

Julie Patacchia's originals were on display, lots of prints sold, as well as pieces from other artists. Julie donated all proceeds to the Society! A beautiful feather hatband by Linda Cox was snapped up for half the usual price. And 2 eager buyers got big color digital prints from the 1939 aerial photo of Waialua's shoreline, sugar fields, and mountains.
